The perfume starts creamy, then the violet and violet leaf appear with a gorgeous green note. The woods are tamed, even the patchouli. BP lasts about 6h and stays close to the skin, that makes this fragrance very easy to wear. BP is my new darling!Elegant, sophisticated. Iris and violets with subtle but tenacious green notes and aldehydes. Balenciaga isn't powdery so much as soft and feminine. It smells substantially the same throughout its development, only becoming mellower and plusher as it dries down.

There are classic perfumes like No.5 and Shalimar that have this vintage aura about them, and then there is Balenciaga Paris, which is the epitome of a modern perfume. When I first spray it on, I can smell a blast of carnation. About 2 minutes later, the violet note becomes prominent and it stays there for the rest of the time. Maybe that's what makes this perfume so urban. The perfume balenciaga triple s lasts about 5 hours on my skin, which is not very long lasting for a EDP, but it's still great. It reminds me of the L'eau Rose because there's a hint of spicy note in both of them, but Paris is more modern.

Silage is: powdery violets with a classy edge -- Longevity is: 5 hours of Parisian chic.But the cedar, the deep complimentary cedar brings the whole fragrance to a new depth.

Being that I completely shied away from my usual signature notes, I was eager to see how this fragrance would react with my skin, just one word, beautifully. I m overpowered with floral, I never appreciated how delicate violet leaf was until I smelt it on my skin. To begin with this scent is incredibly powdery, woody and floral, light but warm and spicy, after quite some time, it blends down to a watery, aquatic I should say, because the sillage is still strong, feminine array of "green" notes, patchouli, cedar and so on. The staying power of this scent is a little disappointing, but I have never been one to complain about re applying, to feel the story all over again, why wouldn t I?

I think to blend balenciaga speed runner violet and carnation is genius, the strength of the violet and the sweetness of the carnation, makes for a very bold yet feminine fragrance. My main love for this fragrance comes from my appreciation for the pleasant change it welcomed, I m usually one for heavy, dark and strong fragrances, all in which must contain my signature note, rose, but I felt new inspiration from this fragrance, a lightness, I would describe this as a creamy array of floral and green, it can be very masculine to use elements of "green" notes in a fragrance, however this displays complete femininity.
